Stuff you need to know
Essentials for Band Camp
Clothes you should wear each day:
- Black Shorts
- White T-Shirt
- Sneakers (no sandals or flip flops)
- Hat (we're outside a lot and you definitely don't want to get sunstroke)
- Sunscreen - Don't get fried, it hurts
Materials to bring:
- Your instrument
- Supplies for your instrument (extra reeds, sticks, etc.)
- Music that you received in your packet, which you should put in a flip book (available at Poc's Music)
- Lyre (also available at Poc's Music)
- 24-pack of water (VERY IMPORTANT! You will drink at least this much! Water will become your best friend)
- White marching gloves (S2/pair for everyone other than drum majors, color guard and trombones whose are $4)
- Show Stopper Marching Shoes (You will need to buy these - S23 - Both the gloves and the shoes may be purchased through the DHS Band Program)
